Day Seven [Holden Caulfield]

[Following this conversation Syo leads Holden to her cabin. She sits atop the table and pulls up something onto her lap - a book. She coughs roughly after taking her seat on it and grins.]

On the bed Holden. I have some fun things to talk to you about!

[She's sure Holden doesn't have the cure to the poison - he would have given it to Akane Kurashiki if he did. But, that isn't what this is about. This is about making sure she doesn't die. And she has a plan to make it so.]

Gehahahahaha...you're wrong Holden. I do have a role. I'm not telling you what it is - you could easily be one of the Hunters who poisoned me still. But I have one and today I'll make it clear. And if he thinks of letting me die, that nitwit will be sorry for it.

I don't need you to vouch for me. Vouching for Akane Kurashiki didn't save her life. You can't do anything but be insurance. I refuse to die this way...think of yourself as a tricked out pony, being shown to the audience. I just need you to get their attention. That's all. It doesn't really matter if they like me or not you know. We need to keep our numbers up so we can beat the Hunters. They only need enough dead so that the numbers even out in their favor, but we need to kill all of them. ...I'll tell you this much Holden, I refuse to die by poison. And if America doesn't promise me protection, then Akane's journal and her note go up in smoke.

[He keeps kind of forgetting that Touko-Syo is a Hope's Peak kid because there are so damn many of them. Sayaka, Kyouko, Togami, and Naegi - those roles he'd picked up by now. Mondo and Aoi were surely normal prey, Kyouko'd made that clear. But he hadn't asked about Touko and now he is paying the price hard. Shit.]

So we're all clear... How exactly are you gonna hold me hostage, now? I mean, what's preventing me from just getting up and walking away. It's just her stuff, right? Or are you actually threatening me with that knife of yours. Damn, I knew I should have gotten to the supply shop... It's simple! When the trial begins I'm going to come up from behind, kick you to the ground and put the knife to your throat. You act as you would if anyone put a knife to your throat and don't tell anyone that we agreed to this ahead of time! You're just going to have to stay like that all trial long. Oh, and I'll make clear that no one is to try and stop me. If there's an accident......

Well lets just say that you should make an effort to make sure no one comes too close ok?!
